Art On The Street is a revolving collective of multiple artists working in an array of media.
It was a pioneer in trendy Soho when it first began in 1990. Born across the street from
Leo Castelli's gallery and next door to Mary Boone, Art On The Street was conceived as
a program to bring fine art into the retail exhibition environment, and in doing so it
has given emerging and undiscovered artists an opportunity to be seen by a mass audience.
In the last two decades, Art On The Street has showcased dozens of painters, sculptors and illustrators.

Program originator and curator Christene Selleck continues to coordinate Art On The Street.
She has worked internationally in the field of Visual Presentation. Christene is the owner of
Selleck Vision, a custom display design/fabrication company, and is an adjunct professor
at the Fashion Institute of Technology and The Art Institute of New York.
